SWEET JESUS! I found this on the shelf in the bookstore under webdesign. I think it negates any good that has come from the O’Reilly collection.

Is the whole structure of the internet community imploding? It seems An Entirely Other Day is going to enter the chrysalis along with others who feel it’s time to move on to other things.

Is it me? Should I try a new deodorant?

Some common phrases I learned on my trip:

• “Oh, I’m just f**ked right off !!”
• “Wind your neck in. Just wind it right the f**k in!!”
• “Oh my god, they’re Welsh!”
• “Why in God’s name would you come to Blackpool?!”

And just a word to the wise. Never fly British Airways. What a nightmare.

Ok, there has been silence here for a number of reasons. First, the move did not go well, or smoothly. It included frelling email problems, and problems with the greymatter stuff I was working on and now may have to do differently.

I thought I’d have it all up and working the first week of may. Setup on the new server, greymatter running, and some other incidentals in place. So I stopped using Blogger at the end of april in the hopes of making a clean transition. To reiterate, that didn’t happen. And it hasn’t been my only nightmare lately, but I didn’t get into it here for all the reasons I just mentioned (still not sure if I will get into it). But I’ve decided since I won’t have everything back together anytime soon, I’ll relax a little and just use Blogger and hopefully be all squared away by the end of this month.

One of the good things that happened around here is that cal reworked my poor exuse for a random links script, and now there won’t be any duplicates. Hopefully I will learn to write better scripts. In the meantime, I will hang my head in shame and get back to studying. Thanks again cal !!

In other news, I will be in the UK next week and will hopefully have some pictures when I get back. More specifically the Blackpool area, but I may have some time to venture out, so if anyone has any ideas of places to go email me
