Having just seen the new Tommy Lee video for the song Hold Me Down, I’m tempted to just ask, “why?”

Why is Tommy Lee singing, and why was it recorded using a drum machine? Why is the video a lame cross between Queensryche’s Silent Lucidity and Linkin Park’s One Step Closer?

Tommy is not a singer. He’s not a frontman. He looks like someone’s dad trying to front a band of 16-year-olds. Oh, and the video is pretentious. I’m tempted to say the song might be good, but I can’t get past all the other stuff to tell.
