I’d prefer if the carbon from my loved ones was used to make something more practical, but I can’t think of anything right now, since floppy disks are no longer practical.
Perhaps they could be used to make up the magnetic strips on my credit cards, and we could put a photo of the deceased on the face of the card.

To me, it just seems like yet another way they can suck money out of people - at a time when you’re sad & vulnerable.
