Luther Wright and the Wrongs are a Canadian band who’ve re-recorded Pink Floyd’s The Wall as a collection of country/bluegrass tunes.
It’s not a joke. I know it seems an odd pairing, but it does work. Sample the mp3s on their music page. I’m not gonna say this is earth-shattering stuff [ed.—Or that these are the best tunes they could’ve put up.], but it’s definitely something for that discerning listener who likes something out of the ordinary.

if I may make a recommendation…I would highly suggest Hayseed Dixie…a bluegrass, AC/DC cover-band. It’s everything Dread Zeppelin wanted to be and more.

another reccomendation: the Austin Lounge Lizards (a terrific legit, if somewhat goofy, bluegrass group) do a terrific live version of "Brain Damage/Eclipse."
