LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) — Los Angeles officials have asked that manufacturers, suppliers and contractors stop using the terms “master” and “slave” on computer equipment, saying such terms are unacceptable and offensive.

the next time i hear someone refer to it as "white" out, that’s it. i’m sueing. and don’t even THINK of calling it "caucasion" out. mm-m.
and "diet" coke? oh no, i won’t tolerate that any longer. why should i have to CONSTANTLY be berated for my extra poundage by my own soft drink? i’d say it’s gone on long enough. "alternative" coke, maybe. "selective caloric" coke, sure.
but the "diet" thing’s gonna stop now.
